-the fate
of Doom

AGENT ZERO: Suave
international spy.
A caricature of the 'movie
spy' exemplifies the bumbling hero of this story. Debonair,
he appears overtly self-confident and seems self-reliant though he
actually depends on implausible gadgetry and the heroics of his sidekick,
Natasha, whom he finds very attractive. This doesn't mean he
has no heroic qualities. Zero can carry and fire a gun, drive
his speedy car, and handle himself in a fight-even an unfair fight.
It's just that he has the uncanny ability to get caught. |
NATASHA: Sexy
Russian double agent.
This young sexy Russian double
agent is highly intelligent and a bit worrisome when it comes to AGENT
ZERO. It's simple-though a hero---AGENT ZERO gets into trouble
and needs help getting out of it; and NATASHA is right by his side
to help. She's very confident and quite the fighter and quickly
becomes a bit abrasive to AGENT ZERO'S overpowering charisma. She
changes her attitude in the end when confronted by her own feelings
for the bumbling AGENT ZERO. |
BARON VON DOOM:
Mad scientist and evil-doer.
The BARON parodies a Hitler
kind of leader: overbearing, obsessive, controlling, manic and well-liked
by the masses of robots he controls. Motivated solely from having
been an obese child, he carries himself more as the world-tyrant-to-be
than a snickering evil genius. His Germanic accent explodes
with confidence and paranoia, and he is always talking down to his
subjects. We get the feeling that he might even talk down to
himself if staring into a mirror . . . |
