Oh no! Someone crashed into Belleville Farm and Home!

Here is the progress page for a mural that Cindy created for the Belleville Farm and Home building in Belleville Kansas. This is now installed on the south side of the building. The idea is the make it look like somebody drove through the side of the building to expose the interior.

This page also has many photos to show the progress of how this mural was painted.

    In Progress Photos

Below are the in progress photos of this mural.  It was painted on 3 plywood boards and
installed. A Contractor then blended the concrete edges over the mural. This page also gives you an idea
of how much work goes into a large mural like this one.

Final Mural (in studio) : Cindy couldn't stop herself from adding more caution tape
when she should have been painting shadows on the fan belts!
The clear coat goes on today! YHA!!!!

Today is Cindy's Birthday, so she is taking a day or two or three off!

Exterior Mural

Cindy still needs to add the shadows and some details-
but the average viewing distance is over 100' so really not too much is needed.
I have a feeling that won't stop Cindy though!

Broken Wall Mural

July 27, Cindy is having a hard time remembering that the mural will be viewed from far away
and keeps adding more detail...

Spray Can Mural
Finished with the spray paint, Cindy puts it back on the shelf...
Jean came over today to take a picture for this week's paper.

Painted Shelf Mural
July 28, with the back shelves basically finished, Cindy starts the foreground of the first panel.
(don't the light bulbs look real!?)

Painted Shelf Mural
Like a painted light bulb going off in Cindy's head,
she decides that it's time to start working on something else!

Please don't look too closely at the detail,
this mural is going to be seen from far away... Not Cindy's NORMAL style (which is usually very detailed)
and proving to be a difficult transition for her to make!

Painted Gardening Supplies

Painted Hole In The Wall

Exterior Store MuralCindy adds another panel in the middle so the mural will fit the space better.

Painted Tools
More shelves get stocked as products get blocked in and detailed with color.

Painted Mural
Cindy still needs to add the text to the shelves and highlights & shadows.

Paint Shelves
Aug. 14, More products get placed on the shelves.

Belleville Farm and Home Mural
Aug. 20- Cindy's adds too much detail and needs to get a move on!
She probably doesn't need to take 2 hours to paint a shop-vac box...
But hey, it looks pretty real! :)

Belleville Mural
Aug, 21- details get added to the right side shelves and gas cans are started-
