This is the first place to look for tech support, AutoCAD news, or anything else about AutoCAD... (after you've been to mycadsite.com of course).

CADALOG.COM :

A great online CAD community. CADalog has it all. Free Downloads (blocks and programs), forums, CAD news, and more. This site has a huge collection of shareware files for you to check out.

CADALYST MAGAZINE ON-LINE :

One of the premiere magazines for the CAD professional. Dealing mostly with AutoCAD, but including reviews of other CAD systems, hardware, etc. Also, you can download Lisp routines and other programs to make your job that much easier.

TenLinks.com :

Billed as the "Ultimate CAD Directory, TenLinks provides the CAD users with a great portal full of information with everything from jobs to reviews tutorials and more. Covers the CAD, CAM and CAE branches of our profession..

CADALOT :

Alan Woodsridge has compiled a GREAT list of tutorial sites. It is well worth checking out, current and complete. You can check out his home page here.

Ultimate 3D Links :

If you need anything 3D - this is the site for you. A great collection of links to everything 3D related.

upFront eZine :

"The Business of CAD" - This site gives you the latest news related to CAD. You will also want to sign up for their weekly newsletter. Multilingual

CAD Talent:

Find a job, or find an employee. This is a great resourse for the CAD world. Check out their other sections like the forum.

CADwire :

If you want the latest in CAD news, applications, plugins and well, everything else - CADwire.net is a great to place go.

Afralisp:

This site is great place to go if you want to learn anything about AutoLISP or VBA - lots of tutorials and other great things.

CAD Corner :

You can find all kinds of free stuff on here. Feel free to download any of the LISP routines, CAD blocks, CAD details or text styles. They're all free for you.

DotSoft :

DotSoft has been in business since 1988, developing engineering graphics and CAD related applications. Their mission is to provide low cost solutions in the form of high quality software. Check out their "Free Stuff" section - many routines for you.

3D CAFE :

Not limited to just a CAD site, 3D Cafe has information for all of the leading 3D applications. Tutorials, models, just about anything you need for working in 3D.

This site provides a wide range of valuable tips on 3D CAD, CAM and CAE and to bring all 3D CAD tips on the web under one roof - well organised!

ROBERT McNEEL & ASSOCIATES :

Go to this site and check out some of their fine software. Accurender is plug-in for AutoCAD that gives you greater control over lighting, material, and 3D viewing (as well as animation). Evaluation downloads are available at their site.

CADOPOLIS :

This is a great CAD portal. Cadopolis.com is based on the fundamental principal of linking of people to information (P2I) & people to people (P2P) with the goal of sharing knowledge and resources. Check out thier sister site: cadshareware.com

Thomas Register provides a listing of major manufacturers and products. They also have available CD's full of CAD blocks.

Lemog 3D Textures

This site (in French) offers a wide selection of free textures for your 3D renderings. While you're there, check out the user's gallery for some great renderings (mostly non-AutoCAD).

A well organized site containing a variety of downloadable CAD blocks - 2D and 3D - great! Also check out their tutorials page.

AUGI :

AUGI stand for 'AutoCAD User's Group International'. Find out about User Groups in your area or join them and have access to online training and more.

JOE BIDDY'S AUTOCAD ANSWERS :

Joe has assembled a large number of links and will also accept specific AutoCAD questions via e-mail.

XANADU FORMALLY,CAD STUDIO :

Here's a site that provides downloads of Autodesk patches, utilities, as well as many useful Lisp routines.

HYPERPICS :

This is a well designed site giving you a little bit of everything. Some good content on programming makes this worth checking out.

THE CAD DEPOT :

Self-billed as having the "Best CAD Shareware / Freeware". This site (part of Tenlinks.com) contains a good assortment of resources.

BETTER THAN NOTHING LISP :

This is a very handy site providing well described AutoLISP routines that you can use in your everyday work. Also included are some AutoCAD tips.

CAD PANEL :

This site a large number of tutorials (including a lot regarding customization) and some free AutoLISP routines. - Check 'em out!

AUTOCAD RESOURCE SITE FROM LLP :

Someone has assembled a good selection of links and organized them into sections. The newsletter links is a good idea.

CAD FX :

This company develops some very useful utilities. Be sure to check out their Block Manager program (free demo).

CADD PRIMER :

This site offers a great book for students or professionals that are new to CAD. The content is not software specific, but can be applied anywhere.
