New Pupil at School: This educational slide show comes from 1953 and was produced by Encyclopaedia Britannica. I think it's now in the public domain (let me know if it isn't). It tells the story of "Bosley", the new student from another country. Watch the show and see if he will ever fit in to his new school and make friends.
This is one of many filmstrips that I found in a Kansas school sale. These are a great time capsule to the trends of the 50's; not only in education, but in the perceived moral standards. I went to school in the 60's and this would have been out of date by then. As for the color tint, this is shot directly from the viewer to give that 'authentic' look.
