The Eiffel Tower - Paris

This has to be the most recognizable landmark ever built. Built for the World's Fair of 1889, it stands as a reminder of the challenges during the industrial age.

This image is the first one I took when I visited the site. My first reaction was "Wow! It's brown!" and from there I have gone back to visit each time I'm in Paris. I hope that this photo on the right gives yet another perspective on this common photographic icon.
