Venetian Gondolas at Dusk

If you are in Venice with a camera and a tripod, you are almost obligated to take this timeless classic. I shot this just off of St. Mark's square and after the water had withdrawn a little. Gondolas define this city, much like a cab in New York. Of course, a gondola ride wasn't in my budget, and it would have been a little weird taking a ride on my own. Still they're great to look at and make great subjets.
