Away from the crowds is this great area in San Diego. Old Town is where it all began. A mix of Mexican and European buildings are reconstructed to give a genuine turn of the century feel. Most of the buildings have shops - based on the original uses. The gem store had some great pieces and very affordable prices. This is one area you don't want to miss - and it's free!
