The performer has a path filled with both cherished and forgotten performances left behind as he moves forward on his journey, this is his past. His cart filled with his personal belongs and close at hand, his baggage neatly tucked away in boxes on a shelf for only him to see, this is what is important to him. He stands proudly above and center, glancing stage right playfully as if to say to the viewer, "I have the audience wrapped around my finger!" Masks in hand, he awes the audience with his masterful deceptions, this is his present. The mask on the ground with it's back facing us, is his future and no one knows what that might be!
