Governor Heineman is a true Nebraskan, growing up in the heartland of the state. He graduated from Wahoo High, pictured here on a dirt road just out of town, his path to the State Capital Building took him through years of committed efforts to better himself, the community, education, economic development, as well as many other passions. His love for the country is represented in the flags firmly planted in the ground. While the microphones represent his commitment to standing up for the people.
